On June 1, 2015, new Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) Regulations will come into effect in the Northwest Territories. The revised regulations will become law in Nunavut later in 2015. One major enhancement is increased support for an Internal Responsibility System (IRS), which focuses on employers and workers ensuring safe workplaces together.
