This project will explore how young workers respond to hazards in the workplace.
Objectives:
• To increase knowledge about the way young worker safety attitudes, safety behaviors and workplace injuries change over time
• To identify predictors that influence taking responsibility for safety, including parental attitudes, quality of job supervision and characteristics of the work performed
Anticipated Results:
This study will provide information that will assist in the design of injury prevention and safety awareness programs for young workers
