Board of Directors

The AWCBC Board of Directors is composed of representatives for each of the 12 member jurisdictions. An elected Chairperson presides over the Board, which acts as a governing body in supervising the Association’s strategic direction.

 

Chair

The Chair of AWCBC is elected by the Association’s Board of Directors, and acts as Chairperson for both the Board and the Executive Committee.

 

Executive Committee

The Executive Committee manages AWCBC’s operational business. Its four officers – the Association’s Chair, First Vice-Chair, Second Vice-Chair and Past Chair – are also members of the AWCBC Board of Directors.

 

Chief Executive Officer

The Chief Executive Officer is appointed by the Board. It is the CEO’s responsibility to implement corporate strategic plans and policies, as well as supervise the Association’s affairs.
