Issue:

Popular opinion suggest that young workers take more risks at work and feel less responsible for workplace safety.

Objectives:

1. Analyzes changes over time in young workers’ responses to hazardous behavior
2. The influence of parents over safety behaviours of young workers.
3. Differences in safety behaviours and attitudes between adults and young workers who work similar frontline jobs.

Anticipated Results:

This study will assist in the design of injury prevention and safety awareness programs for young workers, parents and older working adults who work in similar frontline jobs.
