The sad truth is that New Brunswickers are still dying from workplaces accidents and diseases – and one death is one too many. Last year, 10 New Brunswick workers died, either as a result of serious injury at the workplace or from fatal diseases, such as silicosis, developed in previous years. And already this year, one New Brunswick worker has died, leaving behind family, friends, a workplace and a community that will miss them.
