WorkplaceNL seeks public input for 2023-2028 workplace injury prevention plan

WorkplaceNL and the Occupational Health and Safety Division (OHS Division) of Digital Government and Service NL invites input from the public to assist in the development of a new workplace injury prevention plan for Newfoundland and Labrador for 2023-2028.

A discussion paper outlining opportunities and challenges is now available at: https://workplacenl.ca/about/consultations/. The public is asked to provide written submissions by email to preventionstrategy@workplacenl.ca by September 30, 2022.

The new plan will build on the achievements under the current strategy, Advancing a Strong Safety Culture in Newfoundland and Labrador: A Workplace Injury Prevention Strategy 2018-2022.

WorkplaceNL and OHS Division recognize the value in engaging with the public to help make our province the safest place to work, and thank all parties in advance for their feedback.
