WorkSafeNB announces psychological health and safety grant recipients

More than $1.6 million in research funding to improve safety in New Brunswick’s long-term care homes

Supported by $1.6 million in joint funding, researchers from the Université de Moncton and the University of New Brunswick are launching a four-year ergonomics program to reduce musculoskeletal injuries among long-term care workers. The collaborative initiative aims to evaluate physical caregiving demands, implement evidence-based safety solutions, and train 23 student researchers across the province.
