Saskatoon, Sask., May 29, 2023 – Today WorkSafe Saskatchewan recognized safety leaders from around the province at its 2023 Safe Worker and Safe Employer Awards. WorkSafe Saskatchewan, the partnership between the Saskatchewan Workers’ Compensation Board (WCB) and the Ministry of Labour Relations and Workplace Safety, presented these awards in Saskatoon as part of the WCB’s 25th anniversary of Compensation Institute.
Charlottetown, May 29, 2023 – The Workers Compensation Board (WCB) of PEI is launching a multi-hazard safety campaign on May 29 to remind workers and employers to always take time to work safely around asbestos, when excavating and trenching, and when working at heights.
The Kelowna RCMP and WorkSafeBC express our thoughts and empathy for those who have been impacted by the crane collapse in July 2021, including the families, friends, colleagues, and members of the public who want answers about this tragic incident that claimed the lives of five workers.
