WorkSafeNB has been named a finalist for McLean & Company’s 2026 Employee Listening Excellence Award, recognizing organizations that use employee feedback to strengthen workplace practices and drive meaningful change.

McLean & Company selected WorkSafeNB as a finalist from a competitive field of organizations across the world. The recognition reflects the organization's commitment to listening to employees, responding to feedback, and using those insights to improve how it supports its people.

In recent years, WorkSafeNB has taken a more deliberate approach to employee engagement by creating more opportunities for employees to share their perspectives, communicating results transparently, and taking action on priorities identified by employees. These efforts have helped inform changes across the organization and support a workplace culture focused on continuous learning and improvement.

“Listening to our employees is fundamental to who we are as an organization,” said Tim Petersen, President and CEO of WorkSafeNB. “At WorkSafeNB, our values are accountability, collaboration and trust and being recognized as a finalist for this national award is a reflection of those values in action. We are committed to listening to our employees, working together to make meaningful improvements, and following through on the feedback we receive. That's how we build trust, strengthen our workplace and continue to grow as an organization."

McLean & Company selected its 2026 Excellence Award finalists from hundreds of eligible organizations. Finalists in the Employee Listening Excellence Award category demonstrated measurable progress in strengthening people practices and creating lasting organizational impact.

Award recipients will be announced by McLean & Company later this year.
