“The OHS Funding Program was launched this summer with the goal of expanding occupational health and safety services, education, and training to communities across the North. We were heartened to see the interest it generated and the range and creativity of the proposals we received. Congratulations to the selected projects which will see expanded Standard First Aid course delivery across the Kivalliq Region of Nunavut, chainsaw safety courses for parts of the Northwest Territories, First Aid Instructor Development courses and improved online access to legally required workplace safety training across both territories.”
