Call for Speaker Proposals – 2023 AWCBC Staff Learning Symposium

The AWCBC is now accepting proposals for speakers at our Staff Learning Symposium being held virtually on October 17 and 18, 2023. This annual event is targeted to operational staff of all workers’ compensation boards/commissions in Canada. Topics discussed widely range to engage staff working in several disciplines. The Symposium is also an opportunity to network with colleagues beyond your own jurisdiction.

Event Theme
This year’s conference theme is “Full Steam Ahead “, which explores the unravelling future world of work and workers’ compensation, and how best we might equip ourselves for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. Is your team involved with new approaches to return-to-work or the management of psychological injury claims? Is your jurisdiction leading new prevention initiatives, marketing campaigns, digital transformation, or unique approaches to remote work? We want to hear about these and any other exciting developments to share with colleagues across the country.

If you are interested in being a speaker at the Symposium, please complete the form below. Feel free to forward this invite to a colleague who may also be interested in speaking.
