Workers, employers, and health care and service providers can now submit claim-related documents online
If you’ve been submitting claim forms and related documents to WorkSafeBC by fax, mail, or in person, we want to let you know you now have another option.
With our new document uploader, you can complete fillable PDFs of most of our claim forms, sign your form if needed, and submit it all in one sitting — from the comfort of your computer, smartphone, or tablet. You can also upload correspondence and other key documents.
By offering you the ability to submit claim-related documents online, we aim to provide a new service option that for many workers, employers, and health care and service providers is a faster, more convenient way to add information directly to a claim file.
Document uploader accepts many forms and documents, with a few exceptions
If you’re accessing a form on worksafebc.com, you’ll generally see a large icon labelled “Upload form” beside the form if it can be submitted using the document uploader. You’ll also see instructions on how to send it.
The uploader accepts many other claim-related documents too — not just forms available on worksafebc.com. However, because some documents require complex processing, the uploader can’t accept certain ones.

The choice is yours
The uploader is meant to give you more options for submitting claim-related documents, not replace existing options. You can still submit paper documents to us through all the usual channels. You can also photograph or scan paper documents and use the document uploader to send us the image, provided the content in the image is legible and clear.
If you’re an employer and you’ve been submitting some claim documents through the employer portal — such as worker earnings or information related to return to work — you can now submit them though the uploader or by continuing to use the tool in the portal.
