MyWorkplaceNL online service available for injured workers

WorkplaceNL has added new services for injured workers to its suite of online tools. MyWorkplaceNL is a secure, convenient online service where injured workers can submit a report of a workplace injury, view claim and payment data, live chat with a representative, view and print select information, order hearing aid batteries, submit expenses and send in other claim-related documents.

MyWorkplaceNL is available via www.myworkplacenl.ca at any time.

More than 1,000 users have created an account in MyWorkplaceNL and approximately 19 per cent of all workers’ report of injury report forms have been submitted online since July 2021.

“As the Minister Responsible for WorkplaceNL, I am pleased to see the development of MyWorkplaceNL and its availability online for injured workers to file a workplace injury, view claim details, or have ease of access to speak with someone about their claim,” said the Honourable Bernard Davis, Minister of Environment and Climate Change and Responsible for WorkplaceNL. “Increasing accessibility for everyone through a digital platform will create efficiencies”.

“The increasing number of digital options available to residents reduces barriers to accessing important services delivered throughout the province,” said the Honourable Sarah Stoodley, Minister of Digital Government and Service NL. “I am pleased to see WorkplaceNL offer an online option for injured workers. These types of services make it easier for residents and businesses to access the services they need in a format convenient for them.”

“We are modernizing how we offer services to injured workers to be more accessible and convenient, and to make frequent transactions easier as they deal with a work-related injury or illness,” said Dennis Hogan, CEO, WorkplaceNL. “MyWorkplaceNL helps us meet our goal to offer more digital services for our clients to interact with us that responds to their needs and expectations, and enables us to quickly add new services.”

WorkplaceNL offers services to clients in many ways. Injured workers can continue to submit paper report of injury forms, contact their case management team directly, or seek help by calling 1.800.563.9000.
