Devant la menace des variants de la COVID-19, hautement plus contagieux, la Commission des normes, de l’équité, de la santé et de la sécurité du travail (CNESST) exige le port du masque médical en continu à l’intérieur dans les milieux de travail. Cette obligation s’applique partout au Québec, dès ce jeudi 8 avril.
La prévalence des nouveaux variants est inquiétante, et la CNESST invite les milieux de travail à la plus grande prudence. Ainsi, le port du masque médical en continu, ou d’un masque attesté par le Bureau de normalisation du Québec (BNQ), devient une mesure additionnelle à respecter à l’intérieur pour limiter la propagation du virus et de ses variants, en plus de la distanciation physique et de la présence de barrières physiques.
Pour le travail à l’extérieur, le port d’un masque médical ou d’un masque attesté par le BNQ est exigé si des interactions à moins de deux mètres avec des collègues de travail peuvent se produire.
Cette nouvelle mesure s’inscrit dans un principe de précaution et dans la foulée des initiatives entreprises par la CNESST depuis le début de la pandémie.

Travail sécuritaire NB a mis à jour son Modèle de procédure de déclaration d’un incident pour les lieux de travail néo-brunswickois. Le modèle a été revu et corrigé pour refléter les modifications apportées aux lois et au processus de déclaration de Travail sécuritaire NB. Il offre également un point d’appui aux meilleures pratiques en matière de prévention des blessures et de retour au travail.
Travail sécuritaire NB a élaboré ce modèle de procédure de déclaration d’un incident en se servant d’un organisme fictif appelé Entreprise ABC. Les exigences et les besoins sont différents pour chaque organisme néo-brunswickois. Tous les lieux de travail de la province ont des responsabilités en vertu de la Loi sur l’hygiène et la sécurité au travail. Les lieux de travail qui ont une protection en vertu de la Loi sur les accidents du travail ont des obligations supplémentaires. Veuillez adapter la procédure de déclaration d’un incident à votre lieu de travail.
